Ankle injury idles Garrard
Jacksonville Jaguars10/23/2007 9:31 AM The Florida Times-Union reports QB David Garrard kept his no-interception streak alive Monday night in the Jaguars' 29-7 loss to the Indianapolis Colts at Jacksonville Municipal Stadium. Unfortunately, the game ended early for the Jaguars' starting quarterback, who suffered a left ankle sprain early in the second quarter and never returned after halftime. It appears Garrard's season could be interrupted as well. "He's got a pretty good sprain on there, so I would think that in all likelihood, he'll be missing some time," Jaguars coach Jack Del Rio said after the game. "He tweaked it pretty good." Read more
