Walter excels
Houston Texans10/15/2007 9:59 AM The Houston Chronicle reports WR Kevin Walter had a career day against the Jaguars. The five-year veteran had a career-long reception of 46 yards, a career-high 12 receptions and the first 100-yard receiving day of his career. His 160 receiving yards made for the second-best day for a receiver in Texans history. His 330 receiving yards for the season are a career high. "He's a man," HC Gary Kubiak said. "No matter where we play, who we play, Kevin Walter is going to show up, play his tail off, make every tough play, block. That's the way I felt about him when we came out of the season last year."
