Bucs eyeing Moore

The Pioneer Press reports after losing starting RB Cadillac Williams to a season-ending knee injury Sunday, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers inquired about Vikings third-string RB Mewelde Moore, according to a person close to the situation. Though a deal is not out of the question, the Bucs refused the Vikings' request for a first-day draft pick (one of the first three rounds). That is a lofty asking price considering Moore was a fourth-round pick in 2004, his contract expires after this season, and he has been inactive for two of the Vikings' first four games. Read more
