Bengals' Smith in a rush to expand skills
Cincinnati Bengals09/06/2007 4:03 PM The Dayton Daily News reports Bengals HC Marvin Lewis notices a difference in DE Justin Smith this season. The right defensive end isn't just trying to bull-rush offensive tackles. He has more pass-rush moves in his repertoire. "I see a guy who is really trying to become a pass rusher at the next level," Lewis said. "Justin's going to play hard and make sure he's in the right spots. That's something we'd like him to become a little more consistent at."We also want to see him continue to progress as a pass rusher. I see a little difference in those things and that's good. We may not see results right away. But over time, you're able to see an improvement in those areas." Read more
