09/04/2007 1:29 PM The Washington Post reports LB Marcus Washington remains optimistic that his dislocated right elbow will have healed sufficiently to allow him to play Sunday in the Washington Redskins' season opener against Miami at FedEx Field, but is not yet certain. HC Joe Gibbs said that Washington participated fully in yesterday's practice, but Washington said he is still pacing himself and taking precautions with the elbow he injured on Aug. 18. Read more
