Panthers make cuts; down to 75
Carolina Panthers08/28/2007 5:29 PM The Charlotte Observer reports the Panthers made a handful of roster moves Tuesday afternoon to get to the NFLâs 75-player limit. RB Marlion Jackson was waived and WR Justin McCullum was waived with an injury settlement. WR Josh Davis was placed on the non-football illness reserve list. QB Brett Basanez and DE Rondell Biggs were placed on the injured-reserve list. The Panthers have to have their roster down to 53 players by Saturday afternoon. Read more
