That is when the Dolphins open their regular season in Washington, and Porter, who had arthroscopic surgery last week, wants to be ready to play. "That would definitely be my goal - make sure I'm back for the regular season," Porter said Monday, six days after having his knee scoped by Dr. James Andrews in Birmingham, Ala. "It's a long season, so I don't want to do anything that is going to jeopardize anything." But HC Cam Cameron isn't so optimistic about Porter's availability against Washington.Read more
