Philadelphia Eagles 08/09/2007 4:59 PMAP reports Philadelphia Eagles OG Shawn Andrews will be sidelined indefinitely with a right ankle injury. A Pro Bowler last season when he became a dominant player at right guard, the 6-4, 335-pound Andrews missed practice Thursday morning. Eagles HC Andy Reid indicated the injury to Andrews, who saw a specialist in Philadelphia on Wednesday, could be serious. "His ankle will continue to be monitored and evaluated over the next several days," Reid said. "He will rest it during that time with the use of a walking boot and crutches." A 2004 first-round pick, Andrews' rookie campaign ended in his first regular-season game, when he suffered a fractured right fibula. He started all 16 games in each of the last two seasons.Read more
