Bengals, Georgetown extend contract by 1 year
Cincinnati Bengals07/18/2007 8:43 AM The Dayton Daily News reports the Cincinnati Bengals and Georgetown (Ky.) College will remain summertime partners through 2008. The club and college reached agreement Tuesday on a one-year contract extension to hold Bengals training camp at Georgetown's East Campus Athletic Complex for a 12th straight season. We are happy to continue our affiliation with Georgetown College," Bengals HC Marvin Lewis said. "We believe a traditional training camp environment is still the best way to get our team prepared for the challenges that the NFL season presents. "Our satisfaction with the physical plant at Georgetown is well-known â it is tailored for a football situation â and our relationships with the staff members who run the camp are excellent."
