Samuel, Patriots continue to talk
New England Patriots07/16/2007 8:20 AM The Boston Herald reports the final piece of what the Patriots hope is a championship puzzle could be in place at some point today. Alonzo Shavers, the agent for free agent CB Asante Samuel, indicated that the two sides continue to talk with the hope of hammering out a long-term deal before todayâs 4 p.m. deadline.
