McNabb's Return To Practice Is 'Great'

The official website of the Philadelphia Eagles reports QB Donovan McNabb returned to the practice field at the NovaCare Complex on Monday, marking the first time the quarterback has participated in practice since tearing his right ACL against the Tennessee Titans on November 19. "It felt great to get back out there on the field with all of the guys," said McNabb in a statement following practice. "It's just part of the rehab process and hopefully good things will continue to come. It is important to continue to monitor my progress, but also be smart about the whole situation." McNabb's participation in Organized Team Activities was limited, as the coaches took precautions to protect the franchise quarterback. Even so, coaches and players saw enough of McNabb to give the quarterback a positive review for his first on-field action in nearly seven months. Read more
