Panthers not alone in Carr chase
Carolina Panthers04/04/2007 8:19 AM The Charlotte Observer reports free-agent QB David Carr was to fly to Seattle this morning to visit with the Seahawks after spending Tuesday in Charlotte with Carolina Panthers coaches and officials. Tuesday's meetings did not produce agreement on a contract, according to a source with knowledge of the situation. The Panthers have strong interest in signing Carr as a backup to starter Jake Delhomme. The team also has had contact with representatives of QB Joey Harrington, but Carr is believed to be Carolina's first choice. Read more
