Bucs Sign Lineman
Tampa Bay Buccaneers04/04/2007 8:15 AM The Tampa Tribune reports the Bucs increased competition along the offensive line Tuesday by signing versatile free agent OL Matt Lehr, a six-year veteran who was suspended four games last season for violating the NFL's steroids policy. Lehr, who turns 28 on April 25, was released by the Falcons last month and drew interest from several clubs. A two-year starter at left guard in Atlanta, the 6-foot-2, 304-pounder is considered a solid run blocker who often struggles in pass protection. Read more
