Brooks Added To Pro Bowl Roster

The Tampa Tribune reports since 1997, a trip to the Pro Bowl has been as much a part of LB Derrick Brooks’ football season as training camp workouts, games on Sundays and practice sessions at One Buc Place. As it turns out, this season will be just like all the others since then. Though he was not initially voted onto this year’s NFC Pro Bowl squad, Brooks is headed to Hawaii as a replacement for Bears LB Lance Briggs, who opted out of the game Tuesday because of an injury. Brooks, who has played in the Pro Bowl seven times and has now earned his 10th consecutive Pro Bowl nod, joins Bucs CB Ronde Barber and long snapper Dave Moore on this year’s NFC squad. Read more
