Vikings play waiting game
Minnesota Vikings01/31/2007 10:15 AM The Pioneer Press reports the Vikings have been mum about their vacancy at defensive coordinator the past 10 days, but one currently off-limits assistant certainly seemed interested in replacing Mike Tomlin. Leslie Frazier, the Indianapolis Colts special assistant to the head coach and defensive backs coach, appeared intrigued by the Vikings' opening Tuesday. "I'd like to get that opportunity one day, to advance," Frazier said. "Like most coaches in our profession, you want to advance, and my goal is to one day be a head coach in the NFL, and one of those steps will probably be being a coordinator (again).
