Mueller's status uncertain with Dolphins
Miami Dolphins01/31/2007 9:57 AM The Palm Beach Post reports Dolphins owner Wayne Huizenga said Tuesday he's not sure GM Randy Mueller will stay with the team. "We like Randy and I don't know what the issue is," said Huizenga, who made a brief appearance at Super Bowl media day at Dolphin Stadium. "We hope Randy stays but he might not." The Titans informed the Dolphins last week of their intention to interview Mueller for their vacant general manager position. But it appears Tennessee has not yet followed through, perhaps at the behest of Mueller. Mueller's contract has not been extended beyond the one year remaining on it despite the fact that he was given full personnel control when Cam Cameron was hired as coach. Read more
