Panthers hire offensive coordinator
Carolina Panthers01/24/2007 9:55 AM The Charlotte Observer reports the Carolina Panthers will put their offense in the hands of a coach with three Super Bowl rings. Former Cleveland Browns assistant head coach Jeff Davidson agreed to a contract Tuesday night to be Carolina's offensive coordinator. Davidson, 39, will replace Dan Henning, who was fired after the Panthers went 8-8. Tight ends coach Dave Magazu also was shifted to offensive line coach to replace Mike Maser, who was fired at the same time as Henning. Read more
